Courmayeur & La Thuile

The Aosta Valley is one of Italy's heliskiing hotspots. Set against the majestic Mont Blanc, the roof of Europe, you'll enjoy exceptional itineraries in powder snow of incomparable quality. Beneath your skis, you'll find some of the most beautiful glaciers in the Alps, while our UIAGM-certified guides will accompany you on an authentic high-altitude exploration. Each outing is carefully tailored to your level, weather conditions, and snowpack.

From the Italian resort of Courmayeur , a helicopter flight takes you in just a few minutes to the foot of the highest peaks in the Mont Blanc massif. Depending on the route chosen, you may be dropped off near the Piton des Italiens (4,002 m), the Lée Blanche glacier, the Petit Mont Blanc, the Aiguille des Glaciers, or Mont Fortin.

From La Thuile , a short flight allows you to discover other iconic spots, with unforgettable drops on the Tête du Ruitor or Mont Freduaz.

The Valgrisenche valley, nestled in the heart of the Aosta Valley, is often considered the best heli-skiing spot in Europe . This wild territory offers a variety of north-facing slopes, where the powder snow retains its lightness longer. Each descent promises an average of over 1,000 meters of vertical drop , before winding through a magnificent pine forest that makes every run unique. Sestrières

Sestriere is an ideal destination for discovering heliskiing in Italy, thanks to its easy access . With over 80 listed runs spread across five heliskiing areas, including one at the foot of the majestic Monte Viso , this spot offers a variety of routes suitable for all levels, from intermediate skiers to experienced freeriders. With its accessible terrain and spectacular panoramas, Sestriere is the perfect choice for a unique and worry-free off-piste experience.

🎿 What type of equipment should you bring?

To take full advantage of the exceptional conditions in Italy, we recommend:

  • Wide skis , with a minimum waist width of 98 mm

  • For snowboarders, remember to wax your board well to ensure optimal glide.

If necessary, our team can recommend a partner for renting or preparing your equipment.
