Located in northwestern British Columbia, in Canada, the Skeena Mountains are perfectly located for quality and abundant snow. It is an incredible opportunity to discover heli ski and to experience new sensations.
From steep descents to incredible forest runs with pillows and ground movements, the wild beauty of the landscape, the unlimited run package and the fabulous Bear Claw lodge will delight heli-skiing veterans and novices alike.

Only 3 hours away from Vancouver International Airport followed by a 1.5-hour drive, you will appreciate this ease of access of this summit of western Canada.

Surely the most exclusive lodge in British Columbia, Bear Claw is an incredible chalet of over 1,200 m².
The 16 guests will enjoy exceptional services and helicopters parked at the foot of the rooms. The heliski experience starts when you exit your accommodation.

Ripley Creek heliskiing

With a surface of 10,100 km², Ripley Creek offers the largest heli-skiing domain in the world. That’s about four times the size of the average heli-ski area in British Columbia. Such a large area means an incredible choice of terrain and possibilities. With 15 to 25 meters of snow per year and a northern latitude, you’ll enjoy the kind of powder snow that skiers and snowboarders love.

The journey is simpler than it seems to, it is done in three steps:
1. Arrive in Vancouver, British Columbia [overnight stay available for international guests].
2. Fly 1.5 hours to Smithers or Terrace
3. A 4-hour drive will take you through the Coast Mountains to Ripley Creek.

The Ripley Creek Inn can accommodate 24 guests and each room is individually designed. A spa is available for your relaxation.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the friendly Bitter Creek Cafe, where you can also extend your evenings.

Bicycles are available to explore Stewart’s back streets, visit the museum or cross the border to Alaska, just to feel the call of the north.

Close to the Pacific coasts and benefiting from a dry microclimate, the Chilcotin mountains record incredible snow totals every year.
