What technical level is required?

Comfortable black slope level and first off-piste experience recommended. Routes are adapted to the conditions and the group.

What safety equipment is provided?

Airbag, DVA/ARVA, shovel and probe (harness depending on the route). Briefing and quick test before departure.

What ski/snowboard equipment do you recommend?

Freeride skis ≥ 100 mm waist (98 mm minimum permitted). Snowboard: well-waxed board for cold snow.

How many people per guide?

Small groups, in practice 1 guide for 4 skiers.

What is included / not included?
  • Included : drop-offs, guide, safety equipment, packages if necessary.
  • Not included : transport to the meeting point, equipment rental, lunch.
Where do the outings take place?

Sectors on the Italian side of Mont Blanc (Courmayeur, La Thuile/La Rosière) and neighboring valleys, depending on the weather and the stability of the mantle.

What does a typical day look like?

Welcome & safety briefing, first rotations at the end of the morning, lunch break at altitude, additional runs in the afternoon.

Best time to visit the Alps?

From January to the end of March for cold powder; April often offers beautiful spring windows at altitude.

What if the weather prevents the flight?

Safety is paramount. Off-piste/freerando alternatives may be available depending on conditions, or rotations may be rescheduled if possible.

Recommended insurance?

Mountain sports, search & rescue, repatriation. Check heliskiing/off-piste exclusions.

How to book and what deposits?

Deposit upon signing, balance due closer to the closing date (deadlines vary depending on the transaction). We recommend the best window.
